Alternating Cell Technology to Distribute Pressure Evenly
The Axtair Automorpho Plus mattress consists of 18 removable and independent Polyurethane Ether cells of 12cm therapeutic air which can inflate alternately when dynamic mode is activated, spreading air pressure around the mattress so no one part of the body is exerting downward force for too long.
Independent Head and Heel Relief
Fitted with an additional comfort pillow with 2 static air cells, and 4 independent heel relief air cells, this sophisticated treatment aid applies a multi-faceted approach to catering for the needs of different areas of the body. The heel in particular is one of the areas most at risk of pressure sores, so targeted relief is a key feature of why this mattress is so effective.
Cycle Through Three Different Modes of Treatment
The image below shows how the pump control, which allows the caregiver or patient to switch between three different modes. Dynamic mode is for the highest level of treatment, inflating air cells alternately to spread pressure around the mattress, static which is low pressure, for less severe risks, and care mode is an 'at rest' setting for transferring or caring for patients.
Supplied with a Hygienic Anti-Infection Cover
This mattress includes a blue Promust CIC Cover, made of polyamide mesh coated polutrethane/polycarbonate with added silver ions fitted with a non-slip base. The upper side is breathable, impermeable to liquids and vapour resistant, while the lower side is non-slip. This results in a hardwearing mattress that is low-maintenance, perfect for industry professionals and caregivers, and hygienic: maximising patient comfort by eliminating risk of bacteria, odour and pain.
Tested for Fire Safety
The Axtair Automorpho Plus complies with fire safety regulations EN 597-1 and 2 GPEM D1 Class D. This means that the product is safe for commercial and professional use.
