Winncare Axtair Automorpho Axensor Dynamic Air Mattress for Pressure Sores (15cm height)
Used to treat patients at risk from stage 1 - 4 pressure wounds, the Axtair Automorpho Axensor Dynamic Air Mattress for Pressure Sores employs alternating cell inflation technology to dissipate pressure around the mattress, so no one part of the body is creating downward pressure for too long. This technique is highly effective in preventing and healing even the most severe pressure ulcers, and keeps bedbound patients comfortable, switching between high and low intensity treatment modes.

Three Modes of Treatment - Dynamic, Static and Care
Caregivers use this mattress for a variety of reasons, including taking patients through a cycle of treatment, as well as treating more than one patient - the hygienic CIC cover is machine washable for repeated use. With 3 modes of intensity, caregivers can vary treatments for one or multiple patients:
- Dynamic: High intensity pressure relief provided by alternating air cell inflation technology
- Static: Low pressure for mid-level relief
- Care/treatment: At rest mode for treatment/care
Individual Zones for Targeted Relief
The Axtair mattress is separated into 3 zones, with targeted relief provided to the head area, torso and feet/lower legs. 2 static head cells restrict the alternating air inflation to the rest of the body, while the heel, particularly vulnerable to developing pressure sores, is supported by 4 individual heel cells with independent pressure relief.
Use for Treatment in Prone Position
The Automorpho mattress includes the option to place patients in the prone position, as in the image below, which can be necessary for patients with highly individualised needs, such as mechanically ventilated patients.
Supplied in Easy to Carry Transport Bag
For caregivers who are responsible for multiple patients in different locations, the easy to carry transport bag is a big positive. The mattress rolls up easily and wraps around the compressor to protect against shock impact or falling during transport, and fits neatly into the compact bag for carrying.
Available in Two Heights: 12cm or 15cm
This mattress is supplied in two models. This model is made with 15cm high air cells, and has a higher weight limit of 180kg/28.3 st. For a lower weight limit of 165kg or (or 25.9 st), we have the Axtair Autmorpho Axensor Mattress (12cm), made with 12cm high air cells.
Tested for Fire Safety
The Axtair Automorpho Axensor mattress complies with fire safety regulations EN 597-1 and 2 GPEM D1 Class D. This means that the product is safe for commercial and professional use.
