The Fall Savers Monitor can reduce injury risk by alerting nearby caregivers when a vulnerable person has fallen out of their bed or chair, or if they wander across a floor mat. This ensures that caregivers can arrive at the patient's room as soon as a fall or unwanted wandering has occurred, potentially providing immediate care or preventing the patient from wandering off if they suffer from dementia.
How Does the Wireless Monitor Reduce Work for Care Staff?
By providing the option to eliminate the cables between the monitor and sensor pads, this monitor has several advantages for care staff over conventional systems:
- Reduces the need for multiple monitors, as one monitor can connect to two sensors
- Reduces upkeep as wires will not wear and sensor can not be pulled onto the floor
- Reduces care time to eliminate the tripping hazards caused by wires
- Personalised voice alert feature allows patients to be calmed remotely by family or carers

How Do You Know When You're on Low Battery?
If you opt to use batteries with your unit, then the batteries at some point will run out. This shouldn't be a problem as 9V batteries can last for a significant amount of time before starting to run out of power. However, when it does start to run out of power, there will be a flashing warning light that will illuminate to ensure that your patient isn't left without their bedside monitor.
