  • 1 x Pressure Relief Mattress
  • 1 x Mattress Pump
  • 1 x Water-Resistant Cover

Who Can Use the Drive Simple Air Pressure Relief Mattress?

The Drive Simple Air Pressure Relief Mattress is intended for patients who are at a high risk of developing pressure sores. Comfortable, easy to operate and fit for purpose, this pressure relief mattress if suitable for use in hospitals, care homes or private residential care.

How Does the Drive Simple Pressure Relief Mattress Relieve Pressure?

The Drive Simple Mattress features 20 soft foam cells that redistribute pressure evenly to prevent pressure sores and ulcer development. Seventeen of these cells can be set to an alternating cycle, shifting every so often in order to further prevent the pressure sore development. These alternating cycles can be set to 5, 10, 15, 20, or 25 minute intervals.

How Comfortable Is the Drive Simple Mattress?

Made using ultra-soft foam, the Drive Pressure Relief Mattress provides a high level of comfort for patients with limited movement. The alternating foam cycle also helps shift pressure periodically to ensure the patient is never stuck in the same position for very long.

Can You Perform CPR On This Mattress?

With an auto-firm inflation function, the surface of the Drive Pressure Mattress Relief can be made firm to allow carers to perform CPR effectively. This enables fast emergency treatment in the event of cardiac arrest or sudden apnea.

Is the Cover Included?

Yes, the Drive Simple Mattress comes included with a multi-stretch PU cover to protect the foam mattress underneath. The cover is water resistant and vapour permeable for incontinent patients, and has a 360° zip for easy removal and cleaning.

How Easy Is Disinfection?

Thanks to the 360° zip, the outer cover is easy to remove and clean. Once removed, wipe the cover thoroughly using single-use wipes with water and a 0.1% chlorine solution.

How Do I Launder the Mattress?

When the mattress itself needs to be cleaned, make sure that all covers are completely removed, then launder as follows:
