The Vapour Permeable Cover for the Treat-Eezi Full-Length Acute Bed Sore Overlay is ideal for use in hospitals and nursing homes, or for home patients who suffer from incontinence. A cover for the Treat-Eezi Full-Length Bed Overlay, it can be wiped and disinfected immediately without needing to wash or change the overlay underneath.

DISINFECTS IN SECONDS
The wipeable Vapour Cover can be disinfected immediately to allow for repeated use. Once cleaned, use the cover on the community pressure relief overlay to avoid having to wash it before using on another patient. The Vapour Permeable cover is made from Crib 5 Fire Tested Treat-Eezi material.
Who Can Use the Vapour Permeable Cover?
The Vapour Permeable Cover is sized to fit on top of the Treat-Eezi Full-Size Acute Bed Sore Overlays, and comes with securing straps for use with profiling beds. The cover is suitable for people with stage three and four wounds, and is especially useful for patients at risk of pressure sores who are also suffering from incontinence.
Can This Cover Be Used with Monitor Alarms?
Like other Treat-Eezi products, this cover does not rely on electricity, so will not set off monitor alarms. They can therefore be used alongside tonic clonic seizure alarms.
Will This Cover Affect the Efficacy of the Overlay?
This cover can improve the hygiene and cleanliness of the overlay, but as with any additional covers added, it can affect the way the overlay moulds to the body. If reducing the risk of infection still takes priority for a specific patient, an extra 10 days of healing may be required, however this depends on the individual case and the type of wound being treated.
