Swift In-Bed Repositioning System UltraSlide Base Sheet (Single)

The Swift In-Bed Repositioning System UltraSlide Base Sheet (Single) combines a low-friction centre strip for easier patient movement with standard bedding fabric on the sides. This gives patients capable of independent movement both a smooth moving surface and a stable grip, allowing them to rotate and turn themselves to reduce pressure and improve comfort. This bariatric model is extra-wide and can fit beds up to 127cm in width.

When used with the with Swift Slider Sheet (With Handles/Without Handles) it's part of a comprehensive In-Bed Repositioning System.

Great for Independent Patient Movement

The Swift Slide Sheet has a unique strip design with low-friction taffeta in the centre and more standard bedding fabric on the side. This is great for independent movement and patients who still have some mobility, as they can use the centre to move themselves around and the sides for purchase and stability.

Forms Full Repositioning System When Used with UltraSlide Bottom Sheet

The Swift In-Bed Repositioning System Bottom Sheet is great for patients with some mobility when used by itself, but can be combined with Swift Ultra Slide Sheets for a more comprehensive system. How to Use the Swift Slider Sheet for Patient Positioning

The Swift In-Bed Repositioning System is extremely versatile and can be used with a variety of patients but because of this an appropriate risk assessment must be made for patients before use. You should also consult the included user guide for a comprehensive list of precautions and instructions on precise patient movements and manoeuvres including but not limited to:

Wider Sheet Available for Bariatric Mattresses

Bariatric mattresses are usually wider than a standard single mattress, so a wider Swift UltraSlide Base Sheet might be required. We also offer a bariatric model with a width between 107 - 127cm (42” - 50").
