The Repose Sole Protector utilises inflatable aircells to minimise the risk of pressure damage by offloading pressure and improving comfort for the soles of your feet. Low air technology distributes weight and pressure evenly without losing shape. All Repose products feature Smart Valve Technology, which automatically ensures that the support inflates to the optimal pressure.

Yes! The pump included with your Repose Sole Protector is actually part of the packaging, ensuring you can store the pump and the together at all times when they are not required.
What Size Is the Repose Sole Protector?
The Repose Sole Protector is ideally sized for use at the end of your Community or Acute bed frame. When inflated, the dimensions measure 860 x 370mm (LxH).
How Do I Inflate the Repose Sole Protector?
A pump is provided with your Repose Sole Protector, and pushes easily onto the inflation valve. Inflate the device until air is heard escaping from the pump valve, and then cover the valve on the device using the solid end of the figure-of-eight valve cap. How Do I Fit the Repose Sole Protector?
Once inflated, your Repose Sole Protector is ready to be securely fitted to the end of your bed. First place the Sole Protector in position at the foot of the bed, then secure first the vertical straps and second the horizontal straps around the frame. How Quickly Does the Sole Protector Inflate?
When inflated with the pump, the Repose Sole Protector inflates in less than a minute. This makes it quick and easy to use as soon as it arrives with you.
Can I Use the Sole Protector When Travelling?
The Repose Sole Protector deflates down to a compact size and can be stored inside the pump, which doubles as the packaging for the Sole Protector. This makes them ideal for taking them with you when you travel. Please note that the Sole Protector requires a community or acute bed frame for effective use.
Is There a Weight Limit for the Repose ?

Can a Puncture in the Repose Sole Protector Be Repaired?
Puncture is an infrequent occurrence in Repose products, and is usually caused by pets. We have no evidence to support the use of Repose products after repair and we therefore recommend that, if the product is punctured, it should be replaced.
What Is the Fire Resistance of the Repose Sole Protector?
The Repose have been tested to conform with BS: 7175 Crib Test 5 (Methods of test for the ignitability of bedcovers and pillows by smouldering and flaming ignition sources). This helps to ensure safer use for you, your loved one, and your patient.

The Repose Sole Protector is a CE-marked medical device. At the end of its useful life, the product should be treated as healthcare waste and disposed of according to local healthcare waste guidelines. It may be incinerated with other healthcare waste.
