Invacare Bed Cradle

For those with limited mobility and functionality of their lower legs, bearing the weight of a duvet for long periods of time can be uncomfortable or even painful. The Invacare Bed Cradle is the answer to this problem, alleviating pressure by holding the duvet away from the legs and the feet.

How Large is This Cradle?

This Bed Cradle is designed to fit comfortably on almost any bed. The dimensions are (WxLxH): 32 x 53 x 35cm. To determine whether the Invacare Cradle will fit your bed, we recommend measuring your bed before purchasing.

Eliminate Duvet Pressure

Whether due to an illness, chronic condition or injury, the weight of blankets on legs and feet can be painful. By lifting the blanket off the user, this duvet pressure is reduced if not altogether eliminated, preventing pain from occurring and enhancing the comfort of the patient. This effect can also improve recovery times, as there will be no friction or abrasion from the blanket that can complicate recovery.

Really appropriate for my need, lost one of my knee op scabs and needed the clearance against bed sheets. My wound dried over night and is forming a good new scab this morning Brill thanks

Great bed frame. My husband recently had his hip replaced and for some reason the duvet was pressing on his toes and making them very sore. This bed frame was the answer and helped with this problem. Nice and light too.
