The Harvest Visco MultiZone Memory Foam Pressure Relief Mattress provides excellent comfort, stability and relief, featuring specialist foam zones in the most vulnerable areas. The Visco MultiZone is an enhanced version of Harvest's previous static foam mattresses, suitable for very high risk patients, and those with existing grade 2 pressure ulcers.

Specialist Zones at Vulnerable Areas

The outstanding pressure relief this mattress provides can be attributed to the specialist foam inserts across key areas. This allows for more comfort and pressure relief than ever before, as problem areas for the development of pressure sores are catered to. The varying levels of firmness provided by these inserts in zonal areas allow for more support than other pressure relieving mattresses.

Moulding Visco Foam Top Layer

While many pressure relief mattresses are suited to only a certain type of patient, the viscoelastic memory foam used in this mattress automatically moulds to the shape of the user's body, providing a personalised pressure relief experience every time. This foam is specially designed to provide excellent pressure distribution, reducing trans-cutaneous pressure while improving circulation. This memory foam effect improves the overall comfort of the mattress, while boosting its pressure relieving properties.

Anatomically Shaped Visco Foam Core

This mattress is equipped with a high resiliency foam to provide support and prevent a sagging effect in the centre. This foam is anatomically shaped, resulting in better support of the sacrum area which increases the contact surface area with the mattress. The increased surface area contributes to a reduction in the maximum pressure felt by the patient and the prevention of sacral-region pressure sores.

High-Density U-Shaped Base for Stability

A higher density foam is used on the base and sides of this mattress, providing a U-shaped shell that helps the mattress stand up to the movements of a profiling bed, while preventing the sides from sagging during patient transfers. This makes the mattress more stable overall, and facilitates daily procedures for patients and carers alike.

Four-Way Stretch Cover Included

As is the standard with Harvest Healthcare pressure relief mattresses, a comfortable four-way stretch cover is included. This cover is breathable to help prevent pressure sores, while stretching enough to move with the patient to minimise shear forces. The cover features fully-welded seams, and is water-resistant to prevent soiling of the inner foam of the mattress.

Tested for Fire Safety

All Harvest products have been tested for fire safety under BS 7177 Crib 5 for resistance to ignition. This includes tests in accordance with BS EN 597-1, BS EN 597-2 and BS 6807.
