How Do I Use the Single-Use Transfer Sheet?

The Single-Use Transfer Sheet is a full body length transfer sheet and features five ergonomic handles cut into each side, which makes handling patients even easier. It is important to make sure the patient's weight is evenly distributed and all handles are in use during the repositioning. When handling heavier patients or when transferring across high friction areas, it is recommended you use at least two sheets back-to-back.

Please note that the Single-Use Transfer Sheet is not intended for lifting. All patient repositioning manoeuvres should be accomplished without lifting. It is important to follow your local hospital patient handling guidelines, which are normally available from the Health and Safety department.

Maintenance of Cromptons Single-Use Transfer Sheets

The Single-Use Transfer Sheets are intended to only be used once. They are designed to be disposed of when no longer in use. The sheets are not suitable for laundering.

Please note that the Crompton Disposable Transfer Sheet is not intended for lifting.

Can Cromptons Transfer Sheets Be Recycled?

Cromptons Transfer Sheets are made from 100% recyclable material, meaning they are reused and recycled fully once disposed of. This foundation fabric contains spun-bound polypropylene with a non-stitched hem.

If you select this checkbox on the basket, there will be extra information you will be required to provide on the checkout to confirm your elligibility.

Claiming Your VAT After Placing Your Order

If you did not claim VAT relief when placing your order but would like to receive VAT relief, don't worry, this can be done after your order has been placed. To do this, simply fill in the form below.

* Details of your chronic condition or disability

A physical or mental impairment which has a long term and substantial adverse effect to carry out everyday activities or a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness
