Is the Alerta Medical Transfer Chair Foldable?

The Alerta Medical Transfer chair is a fixed commode that does not fold in the style of a standard wheelchair. It sits on four sturdy swivel wheels which allow for seamless transportation to your designated storage area.

One of the most important features in a patient transfer chair or wheelchair is its ability to adapt to different situations and patients, and stay just as useful through them all. The Alerta Commode and Transfer Chair features drop-down armrests as well as swing away, detachable footrests and four solid steel 5" braked swivel castors so that this chair will be able to handle any scenario or patient. The footrests also flip up for comfort and easy storage.

If you select this checkbox on the basket, there will be extra information you will be required to provide on the checkout to confirm your elligibility.

If you did not claim VAT relief when placing your order but would like to receive VAT relief, don't worry, this can be done after your order has been placed. To do this, simply fill in the form below.

* Details of your chronic condition or disability

A physical or mental impairment which has a long term and substantial adverse effect to carry out everyday activities or a condition which the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness
