By stretching the cover over your mattress you can improve hygiene and protect the mattress from wear and tear, while the waterproof PU design ensures that your mattress will last for far longer.

How Will This Cover Guarantee the Longevity of My Pressure Relief Mattress?

The Pressure Relief Mattress will last for a long time, using durable nylon and TPU coated cells that are designed with durability in mind. However, we recommend that you use the cover, as it protects the mattress from wear and tear, and other external contaminants such as dirt and water. Having this spare cover as a backup is ideal if you're concerned about the longevity of your existing cover.

How Hygienic Is the Alerta Mattress Cover?

The Alerta Cover is designed from polyurethane and is designed to stretch over the entire mattress. This cover is waterproof and vapour permeable, which prevents the mattress from becoming damaged while improving the hygiene of skin on cover contact. The cover is antimicrobial and machine washable too, meaning that the overall cleanliness of the product is clean.

Is the Alerta Pressure Relief Cover Easy to Clean?

You can clean the Alerta Cover to improve hygiene and reduce the chances of the mattress becoming dirty. The cover is suitable for machine washing.

Is This Product Tested for Fire Safety?

Yes, all components of Alerta's pressure relief products are tested to comply with Crib 5 fire safety regulations. This means that all foam, air cells and covers for Alerta mattresses and cushions are tested to the most stringent fire safety guidelines, ensuring you stay fully compliant and up to date with regulations.
